About Boulevard Sarandi Hostel

Boulevard Sarandi hostel is located in the heart of Ciudad Vieja, the historic quarter of Montevideo, an area which has been declared of national interest in Uruguay, with restaurants, pubs, shops, theatres, museums and many other places of interest.

This light and spacious former home was built in 1826 and has been extensively remodelled, with a huge and comfortable common area, with hardwood floors, open brickwork and the presence of antique and typical objects that can normally be found in museums.

There are balconies onto the pedestrian Sarandí street from where you can see the sea on both sides, which makes this hostel a magical place.

The hostel provides all of this in a safe enviroment and with the comforts of the 21st century such as heating and air conditioning in every room, television with cable TV, PC with Wi-Fi available, all day hot water and full kitchen facilities, with breakfast included.

Our uruguayan criollo and rustuc style of decoration makes a very warm and comfortable enviroment, which convined with the good vibrations and disposition of the people who work here will ensure a wonderful stay and a reluctance to leave.
