About Chalet Slovakia
Clare and Dan are ex-backpackers who have set up in the beautiful undiscovered Tatra mountains of Slovakia.
This secret region of Europe the area is a beautiful valley, and Slovakias' outdoor activity centre, from alpine hiking in the High Tatras, downhill mountain biking, rafting, climbing, caving, quad-biking, horse riding, exploring ancient castlers, thru to lazy afternoons in the hot sun at the nearby lake.
In the winter we run our spacious converted house as a ski/board Chalet - we are very close to Central Europe's premier ski resort (Jasna).
We are located in the centre of Liptovsky Mikulas, which is the town that serves the surrounding Tatra Mountains National Parks.
The Chalet has 4 ensuite bedrooms (14 beds in total), large communal lounge and dining room, wi-fi, large garden with BBQ, and lots of information, maps, help and ideas from us. We have bicycle hire, hiking maps, and knowledge and enthusiasm of all the activities this gorgeous region has to offer.
We have a 9 seater minibus for transportation.
The town centre is a few minutes walk away with multiple restaurants, bars, shops and other points of interest.
We are conveniently located on a quiet street 10 mins walk from the train station, bus station and just off the motorway.
