About El Viandante
El Viandante means "The Traveler" in Italian. Established since 2005 and renovated in 2009, Hotel El Viandante provides clean and cozy rooms for travelers to rest, to plan, to reflect, and to reconnect to nature.
El Viandante is surrounded by wonderful nearby places to explore and visit but during down time when the harsh weather keeps the guests inside, the guests can engage in a board game with their company in our spacious breakfast room, or enjoy themselves with a book & a cup of hot tea in our enclosed porch area with the forever morphing weather in view.
We take pride in knowing our guests are comfortable and feel welcome and at home at El Viandante. Whether it is a restaurant recommendation, a neat hiking spot, or driving direction to La Fortuna, we keep our guests well informed, so they can get the most out of their already limited vacation.
