Our daily breakfast that is included with your stay is fresh fruit, all the pancakes you want, toast, coffee and tea. We have a fair assortment of jelly's and butter for your toast, and if we're in a good mood we'll run around the corner and grab hash browns or sausage.

We offer a peaceful hostel where you can relax and enjoy your time while in San Jose, and actually get some sleep too. If you want to have a great time out on the town, no one beats our location. We're stumbling...err, walking distance to so many bars and restaurants it makes it hard to stay in for too long. And don't be surprised if the staff takes you out or tags along. From the hostel you can walk to San Pedro and enjoy an evening at the Jazz Cafe or bounce through all the bars on the Calle Amargura, or you can walk over to Barrio San Francisco and see live music at El Cuartel, or bounce around the little bars in the area. We also have tons of places a stones throw away, like Bar Rio, one of the longest running bars in town; Qbico, a great bar with a lounge atmosphere; Vyrus, a fun rock bar; Sand, a heavy metal bar; El Yos; a great mix of music with a really cool atmosphere; and there's also Nova, with reggae nights on Wednesdays.
Our hostel is located in one of the safest areas in San Jose. A high concentration of foreign embassies means that there is a constant police presence. You'll never have to wear a wrist band to stay at Bekuo like other hostels in Costa Rica.
All of this just a block away from San Jose's main street where buses pass by every minute to different destinations in Costa Rica!!
