About Hostel de Patio
We are just 10 minutes from downtown Punta del Este, at 600 meters from the Bus Terminal of Maldonado and 30 minutes from the International Airport of Punta del Este. The Playa Mansa, only 1,500 m. We have lines of buses to 30 m. We are at the heart of Maldonado in the circuit of our historic city. A Portuguese colonial building that combines a rustic decor with the modernism of today that gives the exact location of harmony for a greater enjoyment of your vacation. Always thinking of you and your convenience, we have spacious and comfortable shared rooms with capacity for 6 to 8 people. Individual lockers. Private rooms with double beds and simple. A comfortable fully equipped kitchen, with a large dining room. Public areas well distributed, comfortable, where you find everything you need: computers with Internet access, cable TV with DVD and home theather, table games. All rooms have Wi Fi Internet service.
The historic circuit of Maldonado includes several centers of interest: Dragons Barracks, site of enormous importance because history here Blandengues entered the body of our national hero Jose Artigas. In the same block, we found the museum Garcia Uriburo with sculptural works especially valuable. Faced with this museum is the Teatro Fernandina, which offers year-round high-level performances. Then we found the cathedral of San Fernando, beautiful colonial temple.
A few blocks are located other sites that deserve to be visited as the Torre del Vigia, the Mazzoni Museum, Museum of American Art, and so on.
We can not forget that a few meters from the hostel is our 'House of Culture,' with a theater that offers varied performances of music, comedy, dance, as well as plays with casts of domestic and international.
