no one spoke a word of english when my basic portuguese wouldnt do, decent room in a dodgy area with rude, unhelpful staff

About Hotel Palace Manaus
Located in the main city centre, just 5 minutes walking to the Amazon Theatre, 10 minutes to the Port and other tourist places.
The Hotel is a historical building of the city.
The hotel has an excellent breakfast included in the price.
We provide a big range of tours to the Amazon Jungle, Amazon River, Waterfalls and Fishing.
All rooms have Cable TV, Air conditioning, bathroom and fridge.
Recomended by Lonely Planet 2007.
