About Chengdu Mix Hostel (Backpacker's Guesthouse)
Hey, this is Mix, say hello from Chengdu, a city famous for Panda and a gateway to Tibet.
I like traveling because this is the best way to understand the world. So I traveled a lot, and eventually I found myself cannot stay away from it in my rest of life.
I have stayed in many hostels and guesthouses in China and also other countries in Asia, I spoke to myself that one day I should have one which comes with all the ideas from my travel experience. Thanks god that I finally realized it with the great help from my girlfriend Gigi (Now, my wife.)
I think we know a little bit more than those who never traveled on how to offer travelers proper service and facilities.

Hostel is only COUPLE OF MINUTES WALK to 'Wenshu Temple' and 'Wenshu Fang', the largest preserved historic area in town where you can find traditional Sichuan architectures, many small restaurants, folk art stores, tea houses and small cultural museum. SO IT'S FUN TO WALK AROUND no matter in day or night, and you'll never feel that there is nothing to do around.
Chengdu city is quite big, sights are located separately throughout the town, so you need public transport. You can find following bus stops just close to the hostel:
[NO.55]: to 'North Railway Station', 'City Shopping Center' and 'Xin Nan Men Bus Station'.
[NO.300]: to Airport.
[NO.64]: to People's Park.
[NO.46]: to “Wang's Tomb” and 'Taoist Green Ram Temple'.
[NO.1]: to 'Wu Hou Temple' and 'Jin Li'.
With the help of public transport, forget about Taxi and save money!

Important Notice:
* Mix Hostel and Hotel are separate, all the en-suite rooms are in hotel come with 3-star standard facilities, very comfortable and clean but it's lack of some of the features as Mix Hostel offers. However, as two buildings are so close to each other, you can come to hostel to use Free Internet, drink beers, meet and chat with travelers, watch DVD and so on.
* Apart from En-suites, all the other rooms are in Mix Hostel, all the facilities are shared but very clean and convenient. The price quoted in hostelworld for HOSTEL rooms are without air-con, but you can upgrade to Air-con one when you arrived by paying 10 RMB for bed, 20 RMB for room.
