About Guilin Flowers International Hostel
'I often sent pictures of the hills of Guilin which I painted to friends back home, but few believed what they saw.'

Guilin (formerly known as Kweilin) has been attracting and astonishing visitors for many centuries. It has also been the inspiration for classical Chinese landscapes of fantastic shape and form of peaks where studded with pines and small pavilions, partly shrouded in mist.
Geologically the peaks are pure limestone that has been eroded into strange formations over millions of years (called Karsts landscape). Here in Guilin these peaks are everywhere you turn, dominating the skyline, parading along the river Lijiang and suddenly appearing at a downtown intersection. There are too many natural wonders in this city and time will never be enough to see them all.

Guilin Flowers Youth Hostel, the member of Hostelling International in downtown Guilin, located opposite to the Guilin Rail Station (goes out the train station and straight forwards about 100m you can see the hostel in front of you.). It is only 500 meters away from the Guilin Bus Station as well. The hostel is at a strategic position exceptionally convenient for travelers. Within walking distance, hostellers can take bus to every place of attraction in the vicinity, such as Yangshuo and Longshen. The hostel is cozy, well-decorated and offers clean, safe, comfortable budget accommodation. Every room has air-conditioning, TV and hot water supply. Launderette, ADSL Internet access, WiFi in lobby, IP long distance phone, DVD player rental, bicycle rental, bar. Free travel information is also available. Enjoying a glass of beer and playing billiards at our cascade bar next to the reception, one will feel home away from home.
NB: The hostel at Binjiang Road listed in LP (8th edition) is no longer operated due to redevelopment of the site.
