About Quarrytown Lodge Bed and Breakfast
Quarrytown Lodge is ideally situated just outside the town of BALLYMENA on an elevated site in a peaceful and quiet farming area and close to the picturesque village of Boughshane, with the famous Slemish Mountain (where our patron Saint, Patrick, herded sheep and is claimed to have brought Christianity to Ireland) towering in the background and also near to the villages of GALGORM, CLOUGH, CULLYBACKEY and KELLS. It is within easy reach of the Belfast International Airport (30 minutes) the George Best Belfast City Airport (45 minutes) and Belfast and Larne Ferries (30 minutes). As well you are at the Gateway to the Glens of Antrim and in an ideal location to explore the spectacular North Antrim Causeway Coast and Glens ie Carnlough, Cushendall, Ballycastle, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Giants Causeway, Bushmills, Portrush, Portstewart etc. The Glenariff Glen, known as the 'queen' of the beautiful and historic Glens with its scenic forest walks and paths skirting gushing waterfalls is just a 10 minute drive away.
At Quarrytown Lodge bedrooms are en suite with TV/DVD players, as well as a Cinema System in Lounge with an enormous selection of DVDs available for use of guests. The Lounge has an open log fire which can be lighted in cold days. There is a separate dining-room, Conservatory with comfortable chairs, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, and lots of safe, spacious spaces in the large private car park. We also have access for disabled guests.
There is a Gazebo, lighted waterfall, wooden picnic furniture and places to relax throughout the beautiful gardens.

Check out any time from 8am to 12pm however, this can be flexible also once we have received notice.

Directions:
From Ballymena: Go to Cushendall Road roundabout (A43), continue straight on Cushendall Road (A43) for 1½ miles, turn right on to Quarrytown Road.
From Broughshane: Go to Knockan Road (B94) towards Clough, continue straight for 1½ miles, turn left on to Quarrytown Road. Quarrytown Lodge 500 yards on the right.
