Stoney Creek Resort is Another Side of Fiji. Tucked snuggly up a hill at the foot of the sleeping giants, amidst 100% natural rainforest, sugar cane fields, lush green picturesque Sabeto mountain. She is young mountain with character and with every sunrise and sunset, anytime of the day she keeps her beauty intact.
Here at Stoney Creek we cook home cooked meals, fresh, creative, local and overseas cuisine. Nothing fancy just real tasty and soulful.

You can hire mountain bikes or with our guide take a mountain hike up to the waterfalls, or take the local bus up to the village then walk through our Sabeto natural rainforest. With a picnic pack, Fiji Water, hat, camera and repellent you can't go wrong. Listen to nature at her best-anytime of the day.
No dead corals up in the mountains.
Up in our natural rainforest the mountain fresh water is clean, cold and refreshing. No rubbish up here in the mountains.
Then again if you haven't planned your Fiji Holiday - its okay, no big deal - relax for 24hrs then decide -we can help sort/recommend your first 3 nights, give you some local advise, village protocol, language then we really want you to experience Fiji. Our True Fiji!!
A walk to the garden of the sleeping giants for looky into wild orchids and native flowers and plants will cost you $12.00 then on the way back stop over at the Sabeto natural hot springs $10 per person - best time to visit and dip in 4.30-6pm Mon-Sat.
Basically, we can tell you of more adventures or short easy walks when you decide you're feeling energetic enough to tackle the mountains, dirt road and cane fields.
Otherwise, play scrabble, suduko, trivia pursuit or cards etc.. by the pool sipping Fiji's coldest Bitter or Gold, try our mountain cocktails. We have real coffee freshly grinded- it is really delicious. Our Resort book exchange is good enough for that one book to get you going again.
The Sabeto Post Office is only a 5 minute easy walk on our dusty road - you will find postcards, phone cards and our friendly post master.
Fiji is not only white sandy beaches, sadly dead coral reefs, palm trees and smiling Fijians.
Fiji is much more and deeper and friendlier, homely and full of passion for all guests.
Fiji is home to beautiful untouched natural rainforest. You've got to keep your ipod out of our rainforest. Close your eyes and soak up the sounds of nature at her best.
Stoney Creek is home to healthy friendly and personified cats and dogs, many native bird, rare monarch butterflies from June-Nov., neighbourhood cows, goats, horses. Guests will find many horses down by Coral Coast for horse riding. These mountain horses are used to transport vegetables etc.. from the mountains to the local markets.
