About Sunnyside Bed and Breakfast, 4-Star, Alloway
Quality 4-Star Bed and Breakfast next to Alloway on the south side of Ayr - just 20 minutes drive south of Prestwick International Airport. Late arrivals are not a problem and for early departures we can provide 'breakfasts to go'. Each room is spacious and well furnished with either ensuite bathroom or ensuite shower room. The triple room contains a double bed, a single bed and a double bed settee with ensuite bathroom and is on the first floor. The twin room contains a double bed and a single bed with ensuite shower room and is on the first floor. The double room is newly refurbished with a double bed and ensuite shower room and is on the ground floor.
We are praised for our high quality breakfasts and friendly service. Breakfast choice includes free-range local hen and duck eggs, haggis - Scotland's national dish, smoked Scottish salmon with vegetarian and special diets catered for.
An excellent location close to Burns Cottage where national poet Robert Burns was born and we are pleased to support Homecoming Scotland 2009. The romantic Brig O'Doon is one mile and we offer a free lift to the hotel for wedding guests. We are on the A719 coastal route just 5 minutes walk from the beach and from Belleisle Golf Course. Royal Troon and Turnberry Championship Golf Courses are 20 minutes by car.
