this is not a hostel. we arrived at the address to find out it´s an old woman´s home who did not know about our reservation. This was a huge problem...

'The House of Carola' - (pension familiar/casa de familia) is situated only 7 minutes (taxi price: $ 0.6) from both the airport and the main center of Cusco (Plaza de Armas), with easy access to all the main tourists attractions.
At 'The House of Carola' we work hard to make your stay the best. We have information about all the main tourist attractions and trips in Cusco. We co-operate with travel agencies, and are able to offer to you very good prices (the best) on trips/ attractions to places such as Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, City Tour etc. For the more adventure minded spirits Mountain Biking, Kayak Courses, Motor Bike Tours, Paragliding, Horse Back Riding, Rock Climbing or Rafting might sounds exciting- we can help you arrange the trips that you want!
We offer FREE pick-up service for all our guests. This is a service we strongly recommend, as there have been several episodes where the taxi drivers at the airport have charged the tourists much over the normal price or they have brought the tourists to family houses, guest houses, hostels, etc they are co-operating with. If you want this service, please send us a mail with information about your flight number and arrival hour.
