Greetings from Hermanus! Why is this filed under Cape Town though? Well it’s because I just got here last night. I’m staying in Hermanus Backpackers. So far have met Barry and JD. Friendly fellows. Enough about Hermanus over the weekend though. Instead though I need to tell you about a coastal drive you need to do in Cape Town.
It’s called Chapman’s Peak drive and is near a place called Hout Bay. The view above, which is stunning you have to admit, is of Hout Bay. The drive is around 5-6km and takes in some breathtaking views. You have to pay 28R each way for the car, but it’s worth it as you can see.
So, as mentioned above, I’m in Hermanus. It’s a quiet place compared to Cape Town. But that’s what I was looking for. There are lots of things to do here. One of them being a cliff coastal walk. There’s where I’m off to now after a shower.
