My snooze lasted a total of one hour. I wish it lasted longer. But I can’t complain about why I had to get up. I was being take to ‘Signal Hill’ to take the above photo. That’s Cape Town at dusk. Check out the moon!
After that I went for something to eat in a restaurant called Arnold’s. Located on Kloof St in the city bowl, they give you a free bottle of wine with your meal. No catch. If you’re in Cape Town or coming here, and you like free bottles of wine, then come here. It wasn’t that bad.
Afterwards, along with Melanie from the hostel, we checked out a couple of bars, literally. The first one was ‘Knoxville’. It’s also on Kloof St and is an extremely cool bar with kicking tunes. Met a few locals also which was nice. From here we went down Long St, Cape Town’s most famous strip. It was packed. Most of the bars were banging out hip-hop tunes, including Jo’burg where we were. Was a good night though, and thanks Melanie for showing me around ;-)
Now it’s Saturday afternoon, the sun is shining and I’m off to Cape Town’s best known beach, Camps Bay.
