One of the best ways to see the Riga is to head up to the Skyline bar at the top of the Reval Hotel Latvija on Elizabetes street. Not only does the bar boast pretty incredible views of the city, it also serves up a colourful selection of cocktails in comfy surroundings. 'Barcelona nightlife rocks!' and 'Man, I partied so hard in Barcelona I thought I'd need a liver transplant' are just some phrases you might hear when talking of it. A neighbourhood famed for its nightlife is El Born, pictured here one night last September.
