    Backpacking with an AFL star!

    When I booked myself on to a three-day trek to Machu Picchu I met a good few people. There were two Portuguese girls, a Czech girl, a Brazilian guy and a couple of Aussie guys.

    Along the way I got speaking to one of the Aussie guys. “What do you do at home?” I asked. “I’m a football player,” he replied. “Professionally?” I replied. “Yeah,” he said with a smile. So when I asked him who he played with, turned out he played with the Sydney Swans.

    Now for those of you not familiar with Aussie Rules Football, you may not know who this person is, but for those of you who do, does the name Craig Bolton ring a bell? That’s him one from the left beside me! He was backpacking around South America in between seasons.

    So you see (again), even celebrities (or well-known faces anyway – no offence Craig!) backpack.
