    Best hostels of 2010 announced at the Hoscars!

    Hostelworld.com has announced the winners of the its annual Hoscar Awards. And the winner? Traveller's House in Lisbon!

    I've been lucky enough to have stayed there this time last year while filming a video called "10 things you didn't know about a hostel" for a point about hostels being chic. It's a great hostel and I can see why it's won the award for the second year in a row (that's the first time that's ever happened!) Joao, Tiago and everybody else at the hostel run a really tight ship there.

    Other hostels that won awards include Wombat's for best chain (that's a link to their Munich hostel), Hostel Lao in Mendoza (stayed there also last October) for top hostel in Latin America, and Academy Hostel in Florence, Italy for Cleanest Hostel.
