    Congratulations to the winner of the Hostelworld & Eurolines Coach Party Competition

    Mary Bulgin is a very lucky person. Why? Well, thanks to a competition run by Eurolines that we were involved in, she travelled to Paris with nine of her best mates.

    Her prize consisted of a coach trip from London to Paris for her and nine of her best mates and included two nights accommodation at St Christopher’s Paris.

    While in Paris, the lucky group got to visit the Techno Parade, Montparnasse Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs.

    We asked Mary, a student at Cardiff University, about her trip.

    What did you enjoy most about your trip to Paris? I met so many nice people. A French girl I met in the smoking area is now coming to see me in Cardiff!

    What's your top travel tip? Don't bother paying for holidays...just win them! But on a more serious note, always make friends with the locals - they know what's what and can stop you spending a fortune in the tourist hot spots.

    What's your favourite destination? I can’t decide between Berlin and Paris! I used Hostelworld to book my hostel in Berlin too, and stayed at the Odyssee Globetrotter.

    What destination is next on your wish-list? Amsterdam, but I really want to go to the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium.
