Buenos Aires has a good mix of neighbourhoods. There’s La Boca which is the most famous (and one of the most dangerous), there’s San Telmo which is a lovely historical quarter with cobbled streets, and there’s Palermo, full of trendy bars and restaurants.
Last night we ate in one of those restaurants. It’s called ‘Sucre’. It wasn’t frightfully expensive by any means, but still an extremely cool bar. Myself and Richie both went for steak. The only problem was that it wasn’t a steak house which was a bit disappointing.
Afterwards we went for drinks in a bar called Madagascar on Plaza Serrano in Palermo. It’s a cool bar and inside there was a whole lot of dancing going on. We were in the middle of it but then, as I was a bit drunk to be frank, we made our way back to the hostel.
Now I’ve a sore head and I’m going for something to eat. Just heard of a nice place in, erm, Palermo.
