Eleven years ago I travelled to Australia direct from Ireland. I paid the price and suffered from jet lag. My body clock was all over the place. When I discovered I was going to Australia again just a couple of weeks ago, I vowed not to do the same thing again. That’s what’s taken me to Singapore for the second time in three years.
Thankfully, a friend from home lives here with his wife and extremely cute baby girl. So yesterday I spent the day with them. We went for lunch, went shopping for a camera (more about that in a minute) and had a swim. We went for a drink that night but that warrants a blog post all on its own.
Now back to this camera. I was looking for a ‘point and shoot’ camera. I will be using it for not much else other than social photographs. The ones you stick on facebook. Traditionally, electronic goods are far cheaper in Asia. I’m not sure if this one is, but I picked it up along with a card and holder for €90. Not bad, it has to be said.
