So I arrived in Barcelona two days ago for a Spanish course in International House on Calle Trafalgar pictured here. The class is nice and small with just 10 people. It's a very international class as everyone's from a different country! There's Kati from Hungary, Carly from Canada and Lisa from Sweden.
My girlfriend states that a language is meant to taught in the language (she's fluent in Irish and is trying to improve mine as I've lost a lot of it). Our teacher Susana feels the same way as she hasn't spoken a word of English since we started.
While I'm not fluent just yet, I am getting there. And two classes down, I'm looking forward to having a full blown conversation with some locals here in Barcelona by the end of the week.
Now, out to film the "10 things you need to know about Barcelona" video...
