One thing I love about Paris is that, if you plan your trip around the first Sunday of the month, you'll save yourself a lot of money as all the main museums are free. This includes the Louvre and Museé d'Orsay. Thankfully, a similar initiative began in Ireland yesterday as, as of from Wednesday July 6th, all heritage sites managed by the Office of Public Works are free on the first Wednesday of the month.

Thousands of women are all set to take to the streets of Dublin on Monday, June 6th for the annual Flora Women’s Mini Marathon. As you may or may not know, our HQ is located in the Irish capital and one of our own, Gillian, is taking part in this important event.

Last night, as a present to my fiancé Vicky who turns 30 today, I took her to see Ellie Goulding in a venue called The Olympia in Dublin (for those of you who don’t know who Ellie Goudling is, look her up on YouTube – she’s got some great songs). As we sat there waiting for her come on, I asked Vicky, "Would you like to know what Ellie has been up to today?" "Yes," she replied, so I handed her my iPhone which was showing Ellie’s Twitter feed (@elliegoulding) and her latest tweets.

I could visit Glasgow a hundred times and still keep going back for more. I’ve been twice for work and plenty of other times to hang out with friends and go to gigs. The live music scene in Glasgow is incredible, thanks to a great mix of home grown talent and top bands from all over the world. Three of my favourite places to go to concerts in Glasgow are the O2 Academy, the Garage and the SECC.
