    Happy Holidays from everyone at Hostelworld.com

    Love it or hate it, it’s Christmas again! For most of us, it means calling around to relations, or relations calling around to you, eating too much turkey and doing nothing for a couple of days.

    But maybe you’re on the road at the moment. Christmases away from home can be just as enjoyable as those spent at home.

    Or maybe Christmas means nothing to you! If this is the case, hope this time of year doesn’t get to you too much.

    “ Just spent a great week near Bocas del Toro, Panama at a charity hostel, helping recycle rain with rain-catchment tanks for indigenous schools, helped indigenous communities, and had a ball doing some good for others. Check them out. See "volunteers" at www.opwater.org. Low-cost, good food, good snorkeling, and making a difference.
