    Hello Durban

    Today I touched down in Durban. I’ve heard mixed reports about this city, but like all cities I’ve had mixed reports about, I like to give it a chance and go out of my way to see the good side to it.

    I’m staying in Tekweni Backpackers. It’s a party hostel which doesn’t mix well with the job of a travel journalist! They also do great tours here in the city. All the staff have made me feel welcome so far and have given me great tips, so I know I’ll enjoy my stay here.

    Tomorrow I’m off on my first tour of the city, so check back tomorrow to see what’s not to miss here.
