Hi.
I’m Elizabeth. That’s my ol’ mug pictured at the top. So, who exactly am I? For starters, I’m the winner of the “Hostelworld.com Connects” video competition, and recipient of an around the world trip, which I will begin very soon.
I am also a teacher, advertiser, vagabond, and now guest blogger for Hostelworld. I hail from a small town, population 4,000, in the United States where the only thing that has changed in the past 50 years has been the addition of a new stoplight.
I have spent the past two years, give or take some downtime in the States, living out of a backpack and doing whatever it takes to see as much of this beautiful world that I can. It hasn’t always been easy, but the indescribable moments of bliss (i.e. swinging from a 40 ft platform into the murky river of Vang Vieng, Laos) make up for any hardships experienced along the way.
Join me as I embark on my journey. The best is yet to come!
In our hostelworld.com travel blog we bring you all the latest company news and information on new additions to the site including podcasts, videos and more. You'll also get inside information on a variety of destinations across the globe as they're visited by our travel editor and writers.
