Recently our friends at Gadventures.com asked me to host a live Google Hangout, also known as a 'Hangout on air', as part of a 'Virtual Tour of Dublin'. For this I decided that rather than a talk about things about Dublin that most of us know, it would be more interesting to have a chat about 'Hidden Dublin'.
While I know Dublin quite well, I certainly don't know every last cafe, bar, or attraction. This is why I asked Darragh Doyle of World Irish and Emily Cunnane of Yelp to join me as they know an awful, awful lot about Dublin.
Over the course of the conversation we discussed hidden bars where you need to buzz on the door to get in, small museums you mightn't have heard of more. You can watch the 'hangout on air' here:
In our hostelworld.com travel blog we bring you all the latest company news and information on new additions to the site including podcasts, videos and more. You'll also get inside information on a variety of destinations across the globe as they're visited by our travel editor and writers.
