A 'braai', a birthday party and a shooter

    Feb202010

On Thursday evening last (that’s the 18th of February) there was a ‘braai’ here in Johannesburg Backpackers. ‘Braai’ is South African (well, Afrikaans really) for barbecue. The reason for this? It was one of the guest

    My afternoon with Jozi

    Feb202010

Driving in Jo’burg isn’t as easy as Cape Town. Last Thursday I almost drove on to a motorway in the wrong direction. It wasn’t entirely my fault though – it was Jozi’s.
