I’ve been to Melbourne twice before this trip, and on both occasions I’ve done quite a bit of exploring. This meant checking out the different neighbourhoods in Melbourne. One of the neighbourhoods I’d never visited before, until now, is Williamstown.
I’m lucky in that I know some locals here. One of these is a guy called Jamie. I met him ten years ago through a friend called Danny who now lives back in Ireland. Anyway, last night he took to a part of the city I’ve never been to before called Williamstown. It’s on the west side of the city which means beautiful sunsets. It’s also got a great view of the city’s skyline. We caught a sunset out there (me, him and his girlfriend Sylvana) last night before grabbing a bite to eat.
It’s one of the coolest neighbourhoods I’ve been to in a long time. It’s not as accessible as other parts of the city, but it’s worth visiting when you’re here.
