Hostelworld.com’s new travel podcast is now finished and available for you to listen to on the site. This one, which is our 57th podcast, was recorded in one of the British capital’s most famous landmarks – the Tower of London.
Called ‘At the Tower of London’ (I spent a good two hours coming up with that title), it’s an interview with Yeoman Sergant (aka beefeater) Bob Loughlin. That’s me pictured with him at the Tower.
In the interview he told me who built the Tower, what were some of the major events to take place there, and how beefeaters got their name.
To listen to this very short podcast (it’s nice and snappy and is less than 4 minutes long) click here. Hope you like it.
In our hostelworld.com travel blog we bring you all the latest company news and information on new additions to the site including podcasts, videos and more. You'll also get inside information on a variety of destinations across the globe as they're visited by our travel editor and writers.
