    Nightlife in Washington DC – a bar with a lot of beers

    I didn’t manage to call around to the President of the United States last night. Instead I decided to see what nightlife in Washington DC was like. Around the downtown area it’s pretty quiet from what I could see, but I did find one bar with a lot of beers.

    It’s called Capitol City Brewing Co. and is located on the corner of 11th St and H St. If you’re into your beers then it’s a good place to go as they’ve plenty on offer. If you’re into your sports then it’s a good place to go as they’ve plenty of TVs. And if you’re hungry, then as you can guess it’s a good place to go as they’ve standard bar food such as chicken wings and burgers on the menu.

    A word of advice though – and this applies to when going to bars in all US cities – make sure to bring your ID with you. Even if you’re balding and whatever hair you have left on your head is grey, bring some form of identification with you. If you don’t, it’s no alcohol. Simple as.
