We’ve got some great new properties for you to check out in some of our top destinations in Asia. Hostelworld.com customers can now book new hostels in Hualien, hostels in Shanghai, hostels in Sanya, hostels in Hokkaido Niseko and hostels in Nara.
Monkey Surfing Backpackers Hostel (pictured here) is located in Hualien City, a popular seaside destination in Taiwan. Located in the Changning District of the Chinese city of Shanghai, the Rock&Wood International Hostel is a pretty cool spot with great access to public transport and the city’s top attractions. Free WiFi is provided and the hostel has its own café and bar as well as a BBQ area and plenty more.
Within minutes of a gorgeous beach, the Sanya Sunshine International Youth Hostel can be found in Sanya, China. Mixed dorms, female only dorms, male only dorms and private rooms are all available at this property which has a Chinese style garden, computer room and lounge. Trips and tours can be booked from reception including surfing, scuba diving and more. WiFi is provided free of charge.
Hokkaido Island, which was not affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, is where you’ll find the Niseko Lodge Tabitsumugi. This place makes a great base for skiing and snowboarding as it’s near the hugely popular ski resort of Niseko. The hostel has a common room and a guest kitchen, and internet access is provided.
The Guesthouse Nara Backpackers is located in Nara close to both Osaka and Kyoto, all of which are safe areas to travel in Japan. Along with a fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and library, the hostel also boasts a beautiful Japanese-style garden. Housed inside a traditional Japanese house, it offers a variety of different room types. Internet access is available.
