I made a couple of trips down to Bačvice Beach during my time in Split and each time it was crowded with people, enjoying the sun, sea and sand. It’s a beautiful beach located around 15 minutes walk from the city centre, and is one of the most popular spots in Split.
While I was in Split, I filmed our Split video postcard which features footage from Bačvice Beach. Watch it and you’ll also get a closer look at some of the coolest things to do in Split, from checking out the views on Marjan Hill to visiting the city’s stunning cathedral.
If you’re thinking about a visit to Split but you’re not sure what to expect when you get there, have a listen to our Split – What not to miss podcast. Bačvice Beach also features in the podcast, along with some great information about the city’s popular annual festivals and plenty more.
Don’t forget, we’ve also got a great selection of hostels in Split for you to choose from.
In our hostelworld.com travel blog we bring you all the latest company news and information on new additions to the site including podcasts, videos and more. You'll also get inside information on a variety of destinations across the globe as they're visited by our travel editor and writers.
