    Glasgow is one of my favourite European cities. It has a great vibe, plenty of things to keep you occupied and a brilliant selection of bars, restaurants and live music venues.

    I did a blog post a while ago about some of my favourite live music venues in Glasgow because that’s what first drew me to to the city. Then when I visited for work, I checked out a wide variety of attractions in some of Glasgow’s coolest neighbourhoods including the West End. You can find more about what makes this area so great in our free Glasgow pocket guide.

    Buchanan Street is the main shopping drag in town and I spent a sunny afternoon there one day stopping people to ask them about their favourite bars, restaurants and neighbourhoods.
