I’ve just returned from Pura Vida, a popular restaurant here in El Calafate. I have to say, I’m feeling like a bit of a fat-te at the moment. I am stuffed.

Today myself and Richie went trekking on a glacier. As you’d expect, it was chilly there. But it really is unlike anything else I’ve seen before, so really glad I decided to come down to the very bottom of Argentina to see it.

Arrived in El Calafate today it’s about 1,800km south of Bariloche but seems to be warmer! Staying in a hostel called Che Lagarto. It’s one of the many hostels in El Calafate. It’s a great hostel. So far today we’ve played pool.

Last night we had to endure listening to a guy in a pub called Pilgrim talk absolute drivel. He was one of those guys who’s an expert on anything. He also put the word ‘yeah’ after every sentence. In a word...torture.
