Planning on going to Munich’s famous beer festival ‘Oktoberfest’ which takes place from September 17th to October 3rd? If so, now is the time to book your bed as Wombat’s City Hostel, one of the city’s most popular hostels, release their availability for the world’s largest public festival today at 11am BST / 12 CET. But be quick...all the beds are usually booked up in a day!
I've been to the festival twice so can see why it's so popular. For 16 days people from all over the world get together to drink enormous beers (known as 'steins'), dance on tables, sing songs and make new friends.
On both occasions I've stayed in Wombat’s City Hostel so can tell you from experience it's a great hostel. Staff are extremely helpful, it's got a great location beside the train station and there's a bar to meet other travellers from around the world when the fun stops in the tents.
Having been to numerous festivals around the world, it's hard to think of one that's more social or more fun. Granted, you may need to nurse a sore head once or twice during your visit, but isn't that part of the adventure?
Don't miss out folks - if you're planning on visiting then book your bed today.
