    Steak and tango part 2

    There are three main ways to see tango – the first is by catching free performances in places like San Telmo and La Boca. The second is by going to a ‘milonga’ club where anyone can try it. The third is by going to a tourist-driven tango-dinner show where you pay for an all inclusive evening that includes both your dinner and entrance to a tango show.

    Sabor a Tango is one of the better ones in Buenos Aires. I was up there filming last night for the video (ok – tango is one of the ten things). Couldn’t stay unfortunately but seemed like a nice way to spend an evening.

    Afterwards I went to a restaurant called Cabanas Las Lillas. It’s expensive. Very expensive by Argentinean standards. But every now and then it’s nice to treat yourself, and this was one of those times. The steak was completely and utterly out of this world. You get what you pay for I suppose.
