   This year at the Hoscars, the biggest awards of the year for hostels around the world, instead of having just one list of top 10 hostels we decided to have four - small, medium, large and extra large. All lists are according to your ratings, so here are the top 10 small hostels in the world from the 2012 Hoscar Awards.

   
   1. Lisbon Lounge Hostel, Lisbon, Portugal
   Located smack back in the middle of Lisbon, this hostel boasts extremely modern decor. Beds are cosy too and it's got a homely vibe.
