On Thursday I visited L’Observatoire de la Capitale and recorded a podcast but because of the weather I couldn’t get any good photos or video. So when I woke up this morning and discovered that the rain had stopped, the Observatoire was one of my first stops.
Located up on the 31st floor of the towering Marie-Guyart Building, L’Observatoire de la Capitale is one of the best places to go for panoramic views of Quebec City. Quite a few people seemed to have the same idea as myself this morning and it was pretty busy while I was there.
From behind the big glass windows you’ll see an incredible vista which includes some of Quebec City’s top attractions like the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadelle, the Saint-Laurent River and lots more.
As you can see from the picture here, the views from L’Observatoire de la Capitale really are quite stunning, making it one of the city’s top attractions and somewhere you should definitely check out during your visit to the city.
