Housed inside what used to be the biggest movie theatre in Bruges, Charlie Rockets is a hostel, restaurant and bar. There are 5 pool tables, a dartboard and foosball table on the premises, all of which are free to use. Free live concerts can be enjoyed at the bar on a regular basis between October and May.

I know that’s not a typical Belgian “brasserie” but I remember I spent a night in the Druid’s Cellar, an Irish pub near the market square where the In Bruges crew (Colin Farrell included) was used to have fun after movie’s shots…it’s quite small and smoky but really cool!!!
This Irish bar serves up a huge selection of drinks including draught beers like Guinness and Kilkenny. A wide variety of bottled Belgian beers are also available, along with Irish whiskeys, Scottish whiskeys, bourbons and more. Every Thursday, the bar plays host to live music acts and there’s a pub quiz on Sundays at 9pm.
Location: St-Amandsstraat 11.
Lennard Ramone says:
Moloko. But beware! If you don’t fit in with the regular clientele (punks, skinheads and the occasional biker) you might get some weird stares
A truly alternative venue, this bar is a great spot to hear live music. Punk and ska bands are what you’ll usually hear at Moloko.
Location: Maalsesteenweg 126 .
