    Top blues clubs in Chicago – Kingston Mines

    If you like the blues and you’re going to Chicago then good news. There are lots of top blues clubs in Chicago. Some are more touristy than others, namely House of Blues. But one which was recommended to me over and over again is Kingston Mines up in the Lincoln Park neighbourhood.

    I filmed there last night for an upcoming Hostelworld video which will be available on the site soon. There’s live music there seven nights a week, and as they have two stages, there’s always a good crowd there.

    It was the business owner’s birthday there last night, so there was a good crowd there. I couldn’t stay for long though – have a big day today.
