Every week the Daily Mail, one of the UK’s leading newspapers, chooses a website as their ‘website of the week’. Last week, the world’s number one hostel booking engine Hostelworld.com was chosen.
The journalist in question who chose our site as his site of the week was one Fred Mayer. What made him choose us as his site was when he visited YHA London Central a couple of weeks ago, the manager told him that Hostelworld.com was the ‘single most important source’ for bookings.
While I hear this a lot when I ask hostel managers where most of their bookings come from, it was great to read that a journalist was told the exact same thing. This drove him to the site to make him check it out and give us a 4 out of 5 star rating, which isn't bad it has to be said.
If you want to read his review for yourself you can do so here.
In our hostelworld.com travel blog we bring you all the latest company news and information on new additions to the site including podcasts, videos and more. You'll also get inside information on a variety of destinations across the globe as they're visited by our travel editor and writers.
