    Are you an iPhone user or an Android person? I’ll be honest with you – I’m iPhone all the way. That’s not to say that I don’t have love for Android...I’ve nothing but love for Android! That’s why I’m glad to pass on the news that we’ve just launched our very first Android app. You can download it here.

    So what can you expect in our brand new app? Well…I’m glad you asked that. Key features include...

    > Book, search and browse hostels at ease
    > See what hostels are 'near me'
    > Secure, guaranteed booking confirmations sent direct to your phone
    > View detailed descriptions of all the hostels from the online version of our site including photos, maps and facilities
    > Ability to filter by price, property type and customer rating
    > Over 3.5 million reviews from fellow-minded backpackers

    Our Android app is our latest mobile offering, complementing our mobile site which got a makeover last week and our iPhone app (my favourite) which is constantly one of the top free travel apps in the iPhone app store.
