WorldNomads.com are offering one wannabe documentary maker a two-week Travel Scholarship to the Amazon in association with Hostelworld.com, Gap Adventures and Nat Geo Adventure.
On this trip of a lifetime to the Amazon, you’ll first be flown to Quito, Ecuador. From there you’ll trek into the Amazonian jungle where you’ll film your own 3-minute documentary to be broadcast on Nat Geo Adventure. You’ll also keep a daily journal of your trip, including pictures. During the trip, you’ll meet up with the founder of Gap Adventures and others while you learn all about sustainable tourism in the Amazon. Hostelworld.com will be providing the accommodation!
To be in with a chance to win this amazing prize, all you have to do is compile a 3-minute video documentary around the theme ‘Local Encounters’, upload it to YouTube and add it to your World Nomads journal with an explanatory post.
For more details about the prize itself, instructions on how to enter and terms and conditions, check out the competition page.
