Dallas is one of America’s most famous cities. This is largely due a to long-running hit TV show of the same name along with their American football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Named after American Vice-President George M. Dallas in 1846, Texas’ second largest city (after Houston) has been famous for oil in the past, but other industries, particularly in the transportation world are today booming.
