dear travellers, i had made a huge mistake by booking the below flight... as i am not sure how the airline works in spain can anyone pls pls help me.. confirm flight lisbon to barcelona 8/21 reaching BCN at 22.50 wanted to book the last flight to ibiza on 8/21 leaving 23.10 but the check in is like 40min before and gate closes 10mins before flight take off... right now i am deciding whether to take the risk of booking the above flight or should i just catch the 8/22 flight (which cost me like 40euros more).. hoping that someone can really help me here thks n lots of love tutu

I am planning on travelling through France, Italy and Spain in June 2007with 2 friends, for a month. I have already cancelled out the idea of a rail pass - as i have compared the price of rail pass + reservations to just buying point to point tickets - and they were exactly the same. We are traveling from Paris to Venice, then to Florence, then to Nice, then to Barcelona then back to Paris (all accomodation has been booked.) Because we have such a set itinerary, I have been checking the ticket times and prices on the RailEurope website. My question is, is it worth it to book & purchase all my tickets NOW (for the 5 trips we are definitely doing - not for possible day trips) from the RailEurope website (they work in dollars, not Euros), or should we just wait till we are in the specific cities to buy the tickets? Let\'s say we arrive in Paris, and we know we want to travel from Paris to Venice in a week\'s time - should we buy the ticket once we get there, to make sure we have a spot a week later? Or would it be even BETTER to order all the tickets now before I even get to Europe? I don\'t want a situation where we need to get somewhere, and all the tickets are sold out! What do you think? Does anyone have experience with purchasing tickets online? Is it likely that some trains will already be booked up by the time we get there?

Hi. Just wanting some advice on the cheapest and realtively quickest way to get firstly from Paris City to Nice and then from Nice to Florence, or even Rome (somewhere in Italy where i can easily then get to Florence). Any advice/tips would be fabulous! Thanks :)
