south america !!

hey everyone, ok so im new here,
im planning a trip to south america, will be travelling alone, hoping anybody could tell me if there is a best time of year to go and how much money and stuff i would need ??
also if any1 else is planning to go maybe you could give me a message and we could help each other sort it out,

Europe in November!

Hey guys, I am planning to travel around Europe in November and wouldn't mind meeting some a smart and funny travellers! I really don't mind, if you are male/female or a zombie as long as you some sense of humour!
I'm in my mid twenties and have been working for 3-4 years and before I succumb to old age, I would like to have some adventure and see places! I am planning 4 weeks starting 4 Novemeber.
The plan is to use interrail around Europe and go to lots of places, stay in hostels..basically a budget holiday! (doesn't mean I am planning to cut back on fun element). FYI - I drink but don't smoke but I don't have any issues if you do!
My tentative plan is- London- Paris - Luxembourg- Brussels - Amsterdam - hannover- berlin - Prague - Vienna - Budapest - Zagreb - venice - Rome- London

Europe - Late October, Early November 2009

I’m a 25 year old female from Canada looking for a fun and energetic travel partner around October 23 – November 13, 2009. I have planned to stay around Switzerland and Germany but I’m open to other place too. My interests are mainly in history and culture as opposed to big cities and mountains. I’d prefer someone who is not really into the nightlife but I don’t mind going out every once in a while. Please let me know if you have similar plans/interests and hopefully we can meet up. I'm 22 years old, recently graduated from college in California and not ready to sign away my life to work so I'm going to travel the world instead:) I've been having the most difficult time ever finding a travel partner over the past couple weeks and I'm not sure why because I'm probably one of the easiest and most fun people to travel with! What's going on guys and girls?!?! Haha, we need to do something about this asap!
But seriously, I'm super chill, down to earth, passionate about other cultures and people, funny, smart, and tall and big! I'm 6'4, 225 pounds and I know how to handle myself plenty well. Whether it be protecting you against a thief or you merely talking too much trash while drunk, I've got your back ;) I would love to meet up with someone who shares a love for music, enjoys a great nightlife, and is adventurous for exploring new places and meeting new people!
As of now, I'm open for anything although I certainly want to tackle the Netherlands and much of Eastern Europe. I'm leaning on buying a 2 month Eurail pass once I figure out who to travel with and where we want to go! Please let me know about yourself and your plans on here! I would love to meet as many good people as possible and hopefully we can get the ball rolling!!!

Couple driving around Europe has 2 seats to spare in van.

Hi All! We are a couple in our 20s currently travelling Europe by car (well, van). We have a couple of seats free if anyone would like to join us for a while or just get a ride from one of our destinations to another (or somewhere en route). We are asking for something towards the diesel we use (much cheaper than a train). We generally camp when we stop somewhere as its a lot cheaper even than hostels and in most cases quite pleasant.
Our itinerary is not that structured - currently we are near Montpellier and will be there for 2 days or so. Following that we are driving straight to the Ardeche (unless we find anything interesting on the way in which case we will stop for a day or so). And from there to Switzerland to visit some family. After that we're going to be heading for Austria then the Czech republic then back down through Italy to Greece.
Please let us know if you are interested in coming with us for a while or need a ride. We are also looking for people to hang out with along route (we are getting a bit lonely as we don't know too many people around here).
