Backpacking survey

Where to stay in Sydney

All going well, sometime next month i should be going to Sydney for a weekend. I want to stay somewhere near the city centre, such as near or on George St, and i'm wondering if anyone can reccommend any hostels in that area. I'm thinking about staying at Sydney Backpackers, has anyone here been there, and how was it?

Going to New Zealand...How much money should I expect to spend there in 3 months

Hey I am going to New Zealand for almost 3 months and am fairly new to backpacking. I was wondering if anyone hade any tips for me, or what I should set as a budget for myself that would include lots of sports. Hope to hear from someone.

hey, i heading of to oz in a couple of weeks for 2 and a 1/2 months and ahve no idea where to start. it far to big to possibly see the whole place so i need a bit of advice on the best things to do and see. any advice ould be great thanks.
