Silly me booked my accomodation right up to Saturday, not looking to see if the trains actually depart on Saturdays, yeah I know dumb arse, lol So anyhow can someone please tell me whether the trains will depart from Portugal, Lisbon to somewhere in Spain on Saturdays or should I shorten my accomodation booking to a Friday Yeah my first trip overseas, can't wait Goran

Hello, I've been looking around at different air ticket prices out of the US but keep getting stuck with approximately the same fares. I know there must be better places to look than CheapTickets, Orbitz and STA -- I can't believe that 1500$US w/taxes is the best I'll be able to swing for a round-trip ticket and I have a job in a hostel, to which I want to return, so I'm a bit stuck going out of Colorado or Wyoming. Even if I take a bus or snag a rideshare so that I'll be leaving out of Los Angeles, California, it seems I will only be saving myself another 100$US or so, counting in the added bus fare or gas/food/expenses (tickets out of LAX seem to be about 900$US, or roughly $200 less than leaving from the closest major airport to where I'm staying). I'm completely and totally open to any travel dates from about the 10th of September on, and can stay anywhere from 4-14 full days, so I'm open completely as far as travel dates and such. I'd like to fly into Canberra, or close to, since I want to check out ANU as a possibility for grad school. (BTW, I'm a student and am over 21, if that information helps any). Anybody have any ideas, people to talk to, phone numbers to call, or places or websites to check out, or even a fully transferable round-trip plane ticket from somewhere nearby where I'm at that you can't get off your hands? I was really hoping that I could somehow get a round trip with taxes for something at, around, or below 800$US (or at least as much under 1000$US as possible, since I'm short on funds)... Or maybe you know of a group flight going in that direction that can take me on (this is how I got to go to Hawaii, and saved myself a lot of money in the process)? Any ideas would be appreciated!
