I am really regreted to ignore the commentary about the rating of the staff service on the travelling tip. The staff service of Elizabeth Hostel in Melbourne is really indifferent and irresponsible. If you have time, take my advice, not to book (1)As I typed the wrong choice when I booked and I have requested to change my booking from 8 bed dorm to 4bed dorm 8 months before. I have already reminded three times in November, especially if it cannot change the room as my parent feel uncomfortable because of their big snoring to live with other travellers. However, the receptionist ignore my request and only inform me the week before I arrived , This made me rush to find the hostel and all cheaper hostels are occupied. It really affects my budget. Hence I request to refund my deposit 2) Complain the Elizabeth Hostel in Melbourne this booking was not a wrong booking. we discussed with them about 2 months ago to offer them a new rate, but they didn't make any decision until last week. we have already booked full-house. nothing can be changed now. (3) I haven't received any mail from Elizabeth Hostel two months ago. What I remembered that I have sent them about the changes for four times. Besides the first time eight months before and the last one two days before, this hostel never gave me reply. I don't want to argue with this hostel, but if they update my request eight months ago, any complaint will be made. I am an experienced travellers and I go with my parents this time hence I nearly checked the mail everyday. This hostel service really impressed me badly. The rating of the staff service can prove my word is true. Please remind the traveller If this hostel is still on list. (
