I have been living in the south of Chile for 8 years. Traveling around I've visited the Lakes District, gone kayaking, climbing, rafting, trekking, went to volcanoes and so on. Do you need a special advice? I can help you with travel tips such as safety, adventure travel, weather, night life, hostels etc. Your Guru in Chile is waiting for your question. :)

Q: I'm going to visit South America in April for 2 monts and intend to book a tour with Kumuka. Have you heard about it. Is it good? I like a tour that takes you places but involves lots of walking.
Is there a bus or metro from the airport to Santiago?
Submitted By: vylinh on the 9th February 2006
A: Hello!
Thanks for your question. I have never heard about Kumuka :(:(:(:(:( From Santiago Airport to the city there is a very cheap regular bus called TURBUS. It is just at the main entrance and comes each half an hour or even more often. If you need any question about VALDIVIA or LAKES DISTRICT please dont hesitate to contact me :):):)
Best regards,
Lionel
